This information applies to customers using PoliteMail version 4.91+
There are two ways to log in to PoliteMail with version 4.91+. Your IT department will choose the one that best fits your organization's needs upon implementation. The two options are Password Authentication, and Single Sign-On options through Azure Active Directory or by establishing a Federated End Point.
Once PoliteMail is installed, the server connections need to be adjusted. This will allow for the most seamless use of the application.
If you are using Single Sign-On, your IT department will set up your login credentials.
If you are using Password Authentication, a "Your PoliteMail Account is Ready" email containing a temporary password as well as your unique PoliteMail server address will be emailed to you upon successful implementation.
Make sure to update your password and set the server right away.
Next, make sure to set the Send Email Via to PoliteMail Server.
If you're using Password Authentication, on the next screen you'll want to enter your name and password. Make sure if you're copying and pasting a password, you copy just the password with no additional spaces.
If you're using Single Sign-On, on the next screen you'll sign in with your Organization Account credentials. This are usually the same credentials you use when you sign into Office365.
If you're having trouble signing on to PoliteMail and you are using Azure Active Directory or a Federated End Point, you will need to contact your IT department to receive your login information.
