How To Show, Hide, And Edit Columns in a Grid View

Please select your PoliteMail version:  PoliteMail 4.9   |   PoliteMail 5.0 or PoliteMail online

Once you’ve uploaded or created a mailing list, PoliteMail gives you a number of options to customize and display the list information.

Go to POLITEMAIL>Lists >Mailing Lists (or any other Content).

You can use the Search feature to search for specific items.

Sorting Columns by Ascending or Descending Order

You can choose any Column and sort by ascending or descending order simply by clicking beside the pull-down menu. An arrow will appear denoting if the list is ascending or descending.

Choosing Which Columns to Display

Clicking on any Column pull-down menu will display all available Columns. Check the ones you want to see, and uncheck the ones you want to hide.

Using Filters

Each Column also has a Filter option in it’s pull-down menu. You can Filter by name, value, date, etc. to display results that contain the searched value. You can search by multiple filters by clicking the Add button. Hitting Clear in the Filter option will clear the filter.

By default, PoliteMail displays eleven columns of information.  You can choose any Column and sort by Ascending or Descending order simply by clicking on the Column’s pull-down menu and choosing Sort Ascending or Sort Descending.

Clicking on any Column pull-down menu will give you a Columns option.  Hovering your mouse over this option will show a list of 90 Column options to display. Check the ones you want to see, and uncheck the ones you want to hide.
