Hosting Images on the PoliteMail Server
As a designer, the only function you will utilize in the PoliteMail is adding images to the Content Library. This will effectively reference or host the images on the PoliteMail server database.
To do this, go to the PoliteMail tab in your Outlook Inbox > Content
Go to the Images tab and select New
A dialog will appear that will allow you to browse your local machine to find the images you want to use for the HTML template.
Once imported, you may need to “refresh” the page to see the image appear in your list of uploaded images.
To refresh the page, right click and select Refresh.
Generating URLs of PoliteMail Referenced Images to Input into HTML Templates
After all of the images are imported to the Content Library, you will see that there is no URL for the images, rather just the Image Name highlighted below.
To generate a URL of the PoliteMail referenced image, use this format:
https://[Your PoliteMail Server Hostname]/politemail/images/[Insert Image Name]
You may now use the URL for images in your HTML templates for PoliteMail users at to import successfully.
